Lucy Addition: Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille in Minnetonka

Jake Whiting points us to the Jalapeno Juicy Lucy at the Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille in Minnetonka. He has a pretty high opinion of what they’re doing out there:

My wife and I go here fort-nightly, and most recently I had the Jalapeño Juicy Lucy. I would give it a 3 out of 4 thumbs up, with the 4th thumb pointing parallel to the horizon. I’d dock it the maximum thumbs possible for being a tad on the dry side. Proportions, architecture, internal temperature, and flavor were ALL there though.

This restaurant is worth the trek down Excelsior for the meal. It’s good food. And no, I have no affiliation with the restaurant!

Adding jalapenos seems deadly. And delicious. Seems like it’s worth the drive.
